Sunday, April 15, 2007 Sygan SNPJ, Bridgeville, PA The crowd started filing in early & "Mr. Oktoberfest" Joe Maloy greeted those early attendees with his strolling accordion antics & sing-alongs up until 2 PM.  At that time, we welcomed Joe Grkman & GRKMANIA to the stage.  Joining Joe Grkman Jr. & Joe Grkman Sr. on the accordions were Frank Pusateri on accordion, John Plesha on sax & clarinet, Steve Grkman on button box, Mike Grkman on bass, keyboards & guitar and Jerry Zagar on drums.  Also joining the band were Joe Maloy & the fourth generation of Grkman family, little Benjamin Grkman on his accordion. At 3:30 PM, Dick Tady & the DTO took the stage with more outstanding continuous music until 5:00 PM.  Joining leader Dick Tady on sax were Tony Grandovic on accordion & keyboards, Ed Gould on bass, Bob McBride on banjo & guitar and Paul Gould sitting in for vacationing Joe Gill on drums. Next, it was the button box music of Frank & Darryl Valencic joined by Skip Tomecsko, Jack Tady & Bert Klements who rolled with an outstanding set until 5:45 PM. The Grkman Band returned to the stage for their final set until 6:45 PM joined by Don Rutkauskas on keyboards, later by guests Louie the Barber, Bernie Orient & Peg Mosurak.  The Grkman Band's polka finale is always something to see! Door prizes were given away including many items that were donated by special friends in attendance.  The Sygan club's 50/50 drawing was $248 to the lucky winner!   Finishing out the night was Dick Tady & the DTO who finished with their great selection of polkas, waltzes & variety music to the delight of the great portion of the crowd who remained until the end at 8 PM.
